My Story

Years ago, I decided I wanted to buy a new electric guitar. I traveled far and wide in search of the guitar that was the perfect fit for me. The result: I didn't find one.

I felt a little bit like Goldilocks and her porridge. One was too hot, the other too cold. But none were "just right". I accepted that to get a guitar with the exact feel and sound that I wanted, I was going to need to build it myself. Ignoring the conventional guitar making practices that are centered around manufacturing high quantities of product at low cost, a new style of electric guitar was born.

Neck grain, body size, woods, hardware, all redesigned and selected to produce The Dord, a guitar with a wide, rich spectrum of sound, smooth punch, and sustain that is unparalleled.
